24th International Symposium on
10-13 September, 2017
Electro- and Liquid Phase- Separation Techniques
Hotel Sheraton SOPOT/GDAŃSK, POLAND
ITP is one of the most recognized international symposium series that addresses the latest issues important to discovery, development and production in all areas of electro- and liquid phase-separations techniques in multiple disciplines.
The dynamic program in 2017 will again highlight a wide range of technologies that utilize electro- and liquid phase-separations, e.g., capillary and microchip electrophoresis, electrokinetic chromatography and electrochromatography, two-dimensional electrophoresis, HPLC, UHPLC, Micro- and Nanoscale HPLC.
It is our distinct pleasure to announce the 24th International Symposium on Electro- and Liquid Phase- Separation Techniques (ITP2017) which will be held in Sopot in September 10-13, 2017. The 24th ITP will continue the tradition of the series of annual International Symposia held in various locations. Their aim is to update information on advances in different separation techniques and their applications in various areas with emphasis on pharmaceutical and environmental analysis.
This Symposium series is also to provide a forum for high-level scientific exchange between analytically oriented scientists from the whole world in a friendly atmosphere. Sopot, with its special atmosphere, can ofer excellent opportunities for scientific, cultural and social experiences in unique seaside setting.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Sopot!

As Sopot is a very attractive tourist centre there are many other hotels that are located nearby:
Medium temperature in September: 18oC
Time: Poland is in Central European Time Zone. In September clocks are set to GMT +2 hours.
Currency: In Poland the national currency is zloty (PLN). In most places you can only pay using PLN. The easiest way is to exchange euros or dollars at the airport or in one of the exchange offices placed all over the city. In almost all places it is possible to pay by credit card, with an exception when buying a ticket directly from the bus driver.
Electricity: In Poland the power sockets are of type E (http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets/e/). The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
You can use your electric appliances in Poland, if the standard voltage in your country is between 220 - 240 V (as is in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa). Manufacturers take these small deviations into account. If the standard voltage in your country is in the range of 100 V - 127 V (as is in the US, Canada and most South American countries), you need a voltage converter in Poland.
Participants are invited to submit manuscripts based on presentations at the IPT2017 meeting for possible publication in Journal of Chromatography A, with the intention of publishing in a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) that is dedicated to the meeting.
A Virtual Special Issue essentially rules out possible delays in publication for contributors to the special issue and will make the conference special issue more complete and accessible than it has ever been. Please see below its advantageous characteristics:
Please note that all manuscripts will be subjected to the mandatory selection process for the journal, including the strict peer review procedure; therefore acceptance for presentation at the meeting is not a guarantee for publication in the journal.
When preparing your manuscript(s), please carefully follow the Guide to Authors of the journal. In the cover letter, please mention that your manuscript is intended for the IPT2017 Virtual Special Issue.
Submission instructions will be announced soon.
Thanks in advance for your contribution!
